With OxygenOS 12.1, the OnePlus 7 and 7T series no longer support significant software updates. Surprisingly, the Chinese tech behemoth has begun distributing a new software update for its three-year-old smartphones, the OnePlus 7.7 Pro and OnePlus 7T, which primarily installs the December 2022 Android security patch.
Users of the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and 7T smartphones are receiving the latest update with build versions GM1901 11 H.32, GM1901 11 H32, and HD1901 11 F.18. In addition, users will need at least 1.05GB (approximately 887MB for the 7T) to download the new firmware.
The new firmware update fixes some security and privacy-related vulnerabilities in the OnePlus 7 series smartphones. The update is happening first within the Indian border. But the company will soon start rolling it out to other regions around the globe.

How To Update :
The latest software update for the OnePlus 7 series smartphones is being rolled out over the air. If you don’t want to wait for OTA, you can check for firmware updates yourself! Launch the Settings application, go to the Software Update tab, and then click on Check for Updates; If there is an update available, tap on the Download button and follow the on-screen instructions to end the process.
