The device operates on Android v14 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Its 6.81-inch AMOLED display delivers sharp visuals with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels at 446 ppi. The screen offers a peak brightness of 4000 nits, 1600 nits for regular brightness, and includes advanced features like 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, an eye protection mode, and screen color mode. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, with a punch-hole design for a modern aesthetic.

The camera setup includes a triple rear configuration: 50 MP + 50 MP + 32 MP lenses with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), capable of recording 4K videos at 30 fps. On the front, a 32 MP camera ensures quality selfies and video calls. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset and a 3.3 GHz octa-core processor, the device delivers fast performance.

It has 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, though it lacks memory card support. Connectivity options include 4G, 5G, VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.4, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB-C v2.0, and an IR Blaster. A robust 6000 mAh battery supports 120W fast charging. However, OnePlus 13R lacks FM radio, a headphone jack, and water resistance.

The OnePlus 13R is getting new features and improvements. According to the changelog, there is a new feature that offers more personalized watermarks. A new touch-to-share feature that supports iOS devices, it can share photos and files with a touch. Along with this, it also improves the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
