OnePlus 13 render shows improvement and innovations

OnePlus will unveil its next flagship, the OnePlus 13, later this month. While the brand hasn’t officially begun promoting the phone, leaks and rumors have provided plenty of information.

In the most recent leak, prominent Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the first design render of the OnePlus 13. Although the post has subsequently been altered to remove the image (a regular DCS tactic for exclusive leaks).

OnePlus 13 rear design

As you can see, the phone retains its signature round camera module on the left. However, the grille that once extended from the camera to the edge is no longer present. Instead, a narrow strip now connects to the right frame, immediately beneath the Hasselblad logo.

At first glance, the design does not appear to provide significant innovation, but OnePlus has made some small changes to improve it.

The render and real-life image of the OnePlus 13 match what was seen in Qualcomm’s earlier video, though we can’t confirm until the brand makes it official.

The phone will use a BOE X2 display. It is said to provide increased brightness, better outdoor visibility, and enhanced eye protection. The gadget is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Furthermore, reports indicate that the OnePlus 13 will have a slightly curved 2K LTPO display, a triple 50MP rear camera system, and 50W magnetic wireless charging.

The phone will likely contain a dual-cell 5840mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC rapid charging and magnetic wireless charging.
