OnePlus 12R Gets OxygenOS 15 incremental update

OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 15 for the OnePlus 12R devices last month. Now, moving forward, the company has started rolling out new incremental updates with new features and fixes.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Octa-core processor and it is equipped with the Android 14 + OxygenOS 14 operating system. The device features a triple camera: 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) while on the front, there is a 16 MP (wide) sensor.

The display size is 6.78 inches LTPO4 AMOLED. The resolution of the screen is 1264 x 2780 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5500 mAh battery + 100W wired, 1-100% in 26 min (advertised).

It features NFC, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C 2.0. The sensors include under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum. The dimension of the device is 163.3 x 75.3 x 8.8 mm and it weighs 207 grams.

OnePlus 12R incremental update: What’s new

The OnePlus 12R incremental update has brought many new features and improvements. In details, there are some new AI features enhanced, which include the AI reply feature, AI check, and AI rewrite.

Along with this, the update also brings new filters to the camera and several other changes to more existing applications, including live alerts, floating windows, and some scenes.

Additionally, to enhance the security with the December 2024 update will provide more stability to the devices.

The latest update for the OnePlus 12R is now available for all the units available in India. The update is coming in significant changes, so it will have a larger file size. To identify the new update, you can check its version number, CPH2585_15.0.0.400(EX01).

The update will be gradually available to all the units, so you should check for the latest update for your notification menu, or you can manually search for the update available for your device from the software update option via system settings.
