Following the release of OxygenOS 15, OnePlus has announced an open beta test for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. You may now test a more improved version of the company’s Android 15-based skin on your OnePlus 12 series smartphone.
OnePlus has officially released all details on its community forum. Despite being an open beta program, there are only a limited number of tester seats available. If you’re in a hurry and want to test out the new skin, please apply as soon as possible. The open beta program’s recruiting begins today and will run until November 5.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the OxygenOS 15 open beta program for the OnePlus 12 and 12R is now available for users in India. If you own a OnePlus 12, make sure it is running the CPH2573_14.0.0.850 (EX01) version. OnePlus 12R owners can participate in the beta program using either CPH2585_14.0.0.832 (EX01) or CPH2585_14.0.0.833 (EX01).

If your phone is running an earlier version, you can upgrade it to the latest software by going to System Updates. Once updated, you can enroll in the open beta program by following these steps.
If you want to join the beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > Software Update > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Beta program > Release Candidate and follow the steps to apply. If your application got selected you will receive the OxygenOS 15 open beta via a special OTA update.
Keep in mind that you may encounter with some bugs or issues after installing the open beta, I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data.

The OnePlus 12’s design uses premium materials like glass and aluminium for its construction and also offers an passable IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Its 3D curved edge display shows vibrant colours and also offers a QHD+ resolution, which offers good sharpness.
