OnePlus 11 Receivces Update To fixes Home Screen Buds, improves audio over Bluetooth OnePlus has initiated the rollout of the OxygenOS 14.0.0.800 update for its OnePlus 11 model exclusively in India, closely following the recent update provided to the OnePlus 11R. This rollout aims to deliver improved system stability and incorporate the latest security patches.

OnePlus 11 is officially released on Jan 9, 2023. The Oneplus 11 is powered by Qualcomm SM8550 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Octa-core processor and it is equipped with the Android 13 + OxygenOS 13 (International), ColorOS 13 (China) operating system.

OnePlus 11 features a triple camera: 50 MP (wide) + 32 MP (telephoto) + 48 MP (ultrawide) while on the front, there is a 16 MP (wide) sensor. The display size is 6.7 inches LTPO2 Fluid AMOLED. The resolution of the screen is 1440 x 3216 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The device is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 100W wired. Moreover, Oneplus 11 features NFC, GPS (L1+L5), GLONASS (G1), BDS (B1), GALILEO (E1+E5a), and USB Type-C 3.1, USB On-The-Go. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus+), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and aluminum frame.

The sensors include under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, color spectrum, barometer.

OnePlus 11 Update

The update is identified by the firmware version IN: CPH2447_14.0.0.800(EX01) and is being distributed in phases. This staggered deployment means that some users will receive the update immediately, while others may wait up to two weeks. Update Highlights:

  • Enhanced System Stability: The update aims to provide a more stable and efficient user experience.
  • May 2024 Android Security Patch: Included in the update to protect against the most recent security threats.
  • Audio Improvements: Fixes have been made to increase the volume when connected to Bluetooth speakers or earphones.
  • Home Screen Bug Fix: An issue causing app icons to shift slightly on the home screen after closing apps has been resolved.

If you haven’t received the OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS and tapping on Check for Update.

OnePlus is encouraging users who receive the update to report any bugs by dialing *#800# and following the prompts to submit bug details.
