OnePlus 11 July 2023 Security Update Comes With New Fixes

Earlier today, the Chinese tech giant released the July 2023 security update for the OnePlus 11R in India, and now they’ve done the same for the OnePlus 11. In India, however, OnePlus 11 users will soon have access to the July 2023 security patch. The new security patch may soon be made available in other countries.

On the flip side, we can now confirm that the OxygenOS 14 beta update for the OnePlus 11 will be announced within the next month. The company’s beta program, on the other hand, can begin in the second week of August, just like it did last year. On August 9, OnePlus began releasing OxygenOS 13 beta 1 for the OnePlus 10 Pro. We now know that the OnePlus 11’s OxygenOS 14 beta will begin rolling out around the middle of August. The beta release for other supported devices will follow shortly after.

Some OnePlus 11 users have shared screenshots indicating that the July 2022 update, with the build number CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01), has begun rolling out. For owners to easily update their smartphones’ firmware, they will need to set aside some storage space, probably around 500 MB. Additionally, a regular mobile data network is all that is required to download the update.

Being a security update, the most recent update prioritizes strengthening the system’s defenses against malicious exploits and privacy intrusions. Users of the OnePlus 11 will also notice a significant improvement in the phone’s overall performance and response time, especially when juggling multiple tasks at once.
