OnePlus 10 Pro receives OxygenOS 15 Closed Beta Program

After releasing the stable OxygenOS 15 update for Nord 4 and Nord CE 4, OnePlus expands the availability of its newest skin to OnePlus 10 Pro through the closed beta program. You can finally try out the new features available on OxygenOS 15 based Android 15 update.

OnePlus 10 Pro Specs

The device is powered by Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, and it is expected to be equipped with the Android 12.1 + ColorOS 12.1 operating system. OnePlus 10 Pro features a triple camera: 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (telephoto) + 50 MP (ultrawide) while on the front, there is a 32 MP (wide) sensor.

The display size is 6.7 inches LTPO2 AMOLED. The resolution of the screen is 1440 x 3216 pixels. The device is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + Fast charging 80W + Fast wireless charging 50W + Reverse wireless charging + USB Power Delivery.

Moreover, it features NFC, A-GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and USB Type-C 3.1, USB On-The-Go. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), glass back (Gorilla Glass), and an aluminum frame. It supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The sensors include Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.

OnePlus has officially shared this information on its community forum. According to the details, the beta program goes live for a limited period of time. If you own the OnePlus 10 Pro, you can apply for the beta program between Dec 2nd to Dec 4th. Since this is a closed beta program, there are only 2,000 seats available for testers.

Before joining the beta program, please ensure that your phone is running on any of these builds – NE2211_14.0.0.930 (EX01) or NE2211_14.0.0.920 (EX01). If your phone is on an older software version, you need to update it to the newest available software update. Also, the beta program is open only for the India variant.

How to update

If you want to join the closed beta program, you can navigate to Go to Settings > About Device > Tap Up to Date > Tap the icon in the top right corner > Select Beta program and follow the steps to apply. If your application got selected you will receive the OxygenOS 15 closed beta via a special OTA update.

Keep in mind that you may encounter with some bugs or issues after installing the closed beta, I recommend you not install the update on your primary device, if you still want to try it out, then make sure to take a backup of important data. You can also rollback to the stable OxygenOS 14 if you want, the guide is available on the company’s community forum.
