OnePlus Nord 4 gets incremental update with January 2025 security patch

OnePlus is rolling out a new Nord 4 incremental update. In this update, there are some significant changes that have arrived for the devices. Let’s explore them in details

OnePlus Nord 4 has been officially released on Aug. 8, 2024. The smartphone comes with a 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED with Qualcomm SM7675 Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor while the GPU is Adreno 732. The device is fueled with a 5500 mAh battery. It features a dual-camera setup: 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) while on the front, there is a 16 MP (wide) camera.

OnePlus Nord 4 runs on Android 14 + OxygenOS 14.1, up to 4 major Android upgrades operating systems.

The device is packed with 8 GB, 16 GB RAM with 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB internal storage.

OnePlus has rolled out the Nord 4 incremental update with the firmware version number CPH2661_15.0.0.500 (EX01).

According to the changelog, there are several new changes arriving for the devices. It also brought new filtering animations in some languages. The update is coming with the January 2025 security patch to enhance the overall security of the devices.

Additionally, the update also fix the issues with call forwarding waiting on 2G and 3G networks
