The Motorola Edge 40 Pro Android 15 update is now officially rolling out, bringing a range of enhancements.
Today, the company has expanded the Android 15 rollout to the Moto Edge 40 Pro. At the time of writing, the update is rolling out in phases and is currently available in select European countries. The update is rolling out with V1TR35H.60-33 firmware version with a size of around 2.87GB.
Motorola has officially confirmed the Android 15 rollout for Edge 40 Pro by publishing the update changelog on its support page. In terms of changes, you will get access to the new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.

Previously, in quick settings, you could tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it on or off.

Use satellite messaging when mobile network is unavailable:

Now, even when your mobile network is unavailable, you can send SMS. Your phone will automatically connect to a satellite, letting you send text messages.
You’ll see a message on your lockscreen and in the Messages app, notifying you that you’re connected to a satellite. -
Use one-tap hotspot to connect devices with the same Google account:
If your phone and device you want to connect to its hotspot are using the same Google account, you no longer need to enter a password to connect.
