iQOO has released its performance-focused Neo10 series in China, with strong new processors, a redesigned camera island, and new software features for gamers.
The company offers two models: the regular Neo10 and the premium Neo10 Pro, both with high-end specifications. But, before we get into pricing and availability, let’s look at how the Neo10 series separates itself and what makes each model unique.
The Neo10 series may look familiar to owners of last year’s Neo9 series due to its virtually identical flat form. However, there are a few interesting adjustments. The top and side bezels are now thinner, measuring only 1.4mm. While the middle frame remains plastic, the camera island on the back has been redesigned, and the vegan leather version has a fresh style.
Moving on to the display, the iQOO Neo10 and Neo10 Pro have a 6.78-inch 1.5K+ 144Hz 8T LTPO flat screen. The display is designed for brilliant color reproduction and fluid graphics, making it ideal for gaming and media watching. The display can provide up to 1800nits of global peak brightness and 4500nits of local peak brightness. This represents an increase from 1400 nits (HBM) and 3000 nits (peak) in the Neo9 series.
Both phones include an advanced 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, as opposed to the optical scanner seen on the Neo9 series.
The Neo10 series is powered by the iQOO 13’s Q2 gaming chip. The Neo10 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Neo10 Pro has the Dimension 9400 chipset. The Neo10 series features a 6400mm² VC cooling system for optimal gaming performance over extended periods. The flagship OnePlus 13 has a VC cooling system measuring 9,925 mm².
Both devices are intended to provide a seamless gaming experience, including a frame rate perception engine that maintains consistent frame rates for popular titles like Genshin Impact.
Battery longevity is another strong quality of the Neo10 series, with both phones featuring a big 6100mAh battery. This is an increase from the 5160mAh of the Neo9 series. With 120W fast charging and support for the 100W PPS protocol, the phones can charge up to 50% in 15 minutes, allowing customers to spend less time waiting for their devices to charge.
In terms of image, both the Neo10 and Neo10 Pro include the Sony IMX921 primary camera sensor, which provides exceptional photographic capabilities. The Pro variant features a 50MP ultrawide camera, while the ordinary version has an 8MP ultrawide lens.
Both versions feature proprietary OIS super optical image stabilization and the latest generation of VCS human-eye bionic technology, resulting in sharp and stable pictures in a variety of settings. iQOO has also included many flagship image algorithms to improve nighttime scenes, portraiture, and motion capture.
