Jingdong has disclosed that the iQOO 13 would be powered by a chipset known as the Snapdragon 8 Elite. According to Jingdong, the new Snapdragon chip promises considerable improvements in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance, reaching a level of capabilities comparable to PCs. The collaboration between Vivo and Qualcomm aims to optimize this chipset, allowing customers to enjoy both great performance and energy economy.
The iQOO 13 includes extensive tuning options, such as performance allocation tweaking, which adjusts CPU and GPU frequencies based on usage circumstances. It has a complex heat dissipation system that includes multi-layer graphene and a 7K ultra-large VC heat spreader, ensuring steady performance under heavy loads. The device features a self-developed gaming chip, the Q2, which enables PC-level 2K texture super-resolution and native 144FPS gameplay.
The iQOO 13 has a 2K Q10 Everest display created in partnership with China-based BOE, which provides high brightness and color accuracy while reducing battery usage. According to recent sources, it would have a 6.82-inch flat OLED panel with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Furthermore, it includes the world’s first OLED circularly polarized light eye protection technology, which reduces eye strain during extended use.
Jingdong also revealed that the iQOO 13 has a 6,150mAh battery with 120W charging capabilities and uses third-generation silicon negative electrode technology to keep the design slim and lightweight. The gadget runs the latest OriginOS 5, which improves the user experience with increased AI capabilities and gaming-specific audio-visual setups. Finally, he revealed that the device comes with two speakers and a big 1016H motor for haptics.
The iQOO 13 is also slated to be available in India shortly. According to recent sources, it may premiere in the first week of December in the country.
