iPhone 14 Series Launch Tipped for September 13 With Large Camera

According to a tip, the iPhone 14 series will be released on September 13. The news comes as the covers for the four iPhone 14 models have been leaked, indicating that the iPhone 14 Pro Max would have a little bigger camera module than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. A tipster sent a photograph of four versions, two of which had 6.1-inch displays while the bigger iPhone 14 variants have 6.7-inch displays. The Pro variants are said to have a more noticeable camera bulge thanks to an improved 48-megapixel sensor.

A tipster tweeted that Apple will launch the iPhone 14 series on September 13 this year. The event is also reported to launch other devices including the Apple Watch Series 8 and a pro version aimed at fitness geeks.

In other iPhone 14-related news, as per a tweet by a tipster the iPhone 14 series will get four smartphones named iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to the graphic in the tweet, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro have the same screen size, as do the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is also said that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have 6.1-inch screens, while the bigger iPhone 14 model (which might be marketed as the iPhone Plus) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 6.7-inch screens.

According to a tip’s two photographs shared on Weibo, the claimed iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphone would have a bigger camera module than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This might be due to the 48-megapixel camera sensor said to be included in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro versions. Earlier this year, prominent analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the “diagonal length of 48-megapixel CIS would expand by 25-35 percent, and the height of 48-megapixel sensor’s 7P lens will increase by 5-10 percent.”
