The second betas of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are now available for supporting iPhones and iPads. The iPad Pro 9.7-inch WiFi + Cellular device does not have access to the iPadOS 15 Beta 2 at this time. We don’t know why, but it’s possible that the gadget will receive the update soon, or that it will catch up to the third beta. Developers may get iOS 15 Beta 2 now, but public beta testers will be able to get it soon.
Many of the enhancements announced during the launch event are included in the second iOS 15 beta. Also, some functions are still unavailable, which Apple will address in future beta updates. Apple stated that public testers will receive the upgrade in July, thus we may expect the public beta to begin rolling out with beta 3 or perhaps earlier with iOS 15 Beta 2.
Apple also launched tvOS 15 Beta 2, watchOS 8 Beta 2, and HomePod 15 Beta 2 alongside iOS 15 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15 Beta 2. The macOS next beta has not yet been released. The build number 19A5281h appears on both iOS 15 Beta 2 and iPadOS 15 Beta 2. And, as expected, the second weight update is over 1GB in size.
