Apple is constantly updating and enhancing its products with new features and updates, and its user interface is particularly impressive. Siri is an AI assistant that offers some reassurance, such as the ability to complete some tasks, but it is not a sophisticated AI system. In iOS 17, Apple added a new feature called Personal Voice, which lets users use their Voice to have conversations with their loved ones.
iOS 17 Personal Voice Feature:
In case you haven’t heard, Apple recently released a new software update called “Personal Voice.” It was among a suite of new accessibility tools introduced by the corporation. Beta versions of iOS 17 and iPad OS 17 include this functionality. For the Personal voice feature to work, you need to speak for 15 minutes, or “spark” for almost that long so that it can digitise your voice. This is accomplished entirely on-premises and provides full end-to-end encryption.
How to set up the Personal Voice on iOS 17?
Before using the Personal voice feature, you must set up the feature on your device. Here’s how to set up the personal Voice on iOS 17:
- Go to the Settings app on your iPhone running iOS 17.
- Click on the Accessibility tab, and select Personal Voice.
- Hit on Create a personal voice.
- Record your Voice directly by placing the iPhone in front of your face in a silent room.
- Now lock your iPhone and keep it on a charger to create your personal Voice.
The Apple website claims that the personal voice process can take up to a whole night to finish. However, after it’s done, you’ll get a signal that your own Voice is ready to use.
If you want to listen to your Voice, you can;Â Head to Settings >> Accessibility >> personal voice.
