Xiaomi has implemented a wide variety of functionalities and modes in its smartphones. An example of this is the MIUI High Performance Mode, which allows you to make the most of the device’s hardware.
Although Xiaomi uses the latest technology in its smartphones, MIUI usually balances performance, in order to obtain a balance between energy consumption and the use of the processor and memory. Fortunately, we can modify this thanks to the high performance mode.
What is MIUI High Performance Mode: this is how you can activate it on your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO
Among the different MIUI settings, we find the possibility of activating high performance mode. When activated, the system will prioritize the use of the processor at its full capacity over energy savings, thus achieving greater system fluidity and, in general, a better user experience.
Of course, as we have said, activating high performance mode has its negative points. By allowing the processor and memory to use their full potential, autonomy will be slightly reduced in most cases. To activate it, just follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Battery
- Once inside, just select the Performance option
It should be noted that we can also activate this high performance mode from the Control Center itself. To do this, simply open it and look for the High Performance Mode option (you can edit the shortcuts displayed in the Control Center).
Without a doubt, an extremely useful mode when we need extra power, either to play hardware-demanding games or when we notice that our Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO is losing fluidity.
