Poco F6 & F6 Por Google Camera is a modded version of the Camera app extracted from a Pixel smartphone.
Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro has been officially released on May 23, 2024. The dimension of the smartphone is 160.9 x 75 x 8.2 mm and it weighs 209 grams. The device is packed with 12 GB, 16 GB RAM with 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB internal storage. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor while the GPU is Adreno 740.
The display of the smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED and 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device has a built-in non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 120W wired, PD3.0, QC3+, 100% in 19 min (advertised).
It also features a Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) + IP64, dust and water-resistant. The rear camera consists of a triple camera: 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) and it features LED flash. On the front, there is a single 16 MP (wide) camera.
The sensors include an under-display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and compass. Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro comes in two colors: Black, White. The smartphone runs on Android 14 + HyperOS operating system. It also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1+L5), BDS (B1I+B1c+B2a), GALILEO (E1+E5a), QZSS (L1+L5), NavIC (L5), GLONASS, and NFC.

Google Camera for Poco F6 & F6 Pro
Both Poco F6 series phones capture decent photos in daylight and low light. However, the standard Poco F6’s camera struggles with skin tones and faces, whereas the Pro model excels. The ultra-wide-angle lens is an 8MP Sony IMX 355 snapper on both phones and it performs well in most cases.

Once you have installed any of these GCam port on your Poco F6 or F6 Pro, you can start taking photos.
There’s no need to do much configuration, but still, you can play with the settings as per your needs. Additionally, you can activate and use the Leica filters on the GCam 8.8 port, only if you find them useful.
