Last year, the Oppo F17 Pro was one of a few mid-range Oppo smartphones to receive the latest ColorOS 11 upgrade. Oppo released a new update for the Oppo F17 Pro in November 2020. It’s now time for the Oppo F17 in its original form. Oppo had already announced the release when they released their May roadmap. The ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Beta Update is now available for the Oppo F17. You will find out what you need to know about the latest version right here.
In terms of availability, the Oppo F17 beta software is now open to Indian users. Any Oppo F17 participant will participate in the recruiting program until May 28th and sample the functionality of Oppo’s newest skin. If you wish to be a member of the beta program, make sure your handset is running one of these two app versions: A.37 or A.39. The update includes a slew of UI tweaks, enhancements, and corrections.
FlexDrop, Oppo Sans font, three-finger gesture to convert from Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, and a slew of customizations to the Dark Mode, Always-On Display, Wallpapers, Ringtones, and Icons are among the new features in ColorOS 11. Users will obviously use Android 11 critical features after sideloading the upgrade. Aside from the new additions, the upgrade can also get your device’s monthly security patch edition up to date.
ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Beta Update (Oppo F17)
Users of the Oppo F17 (non-pro) can now join in the trial program and gain access to ColorOS 11 based Android 11 features on their smartphone. If you wish to participate in the beta program, make sure your handset is running the most recent software update (version A.37 / A.39). Before beginning installation, make sure your handset is at least 50% charged. Here’s how to get involved with the ColorOS 11 beta program.
Connect your handset to the Internet and go to your phone’s settings.
Go to the Software Update section. On the phone, tap Settings.
Then select Apply for Beta > Update Beta version from the drop-down menu.
Then follow the on-screen instructions.
Officials will review your application after you fill out the Android 11 beta form, and you should receive the Android 11 Beta update on your Oppo F17 within a week. Wait for the second shipment if you didn’t make it in the first.
