The Oppo Find X8 series will include a 120W adapter that can charge two smartphones at once, making it perfect for office environments. Additionally, the charger can be used to power laptops.
The power adapter is built with Oppo’s latest gallium nitride technology, which makes it extremely power efficient. As a result, it may provide high current and low voltage power output.
In terms of output arrangement, the Oppo 120W adapter has both a Type-C and a Type-A connection and provides an 80W + 45W output for charging two devices at the same time. Notably, the Type-C connection is expected to support an 80W charging speed.
In addition to the Find X8 series, the company will release an 80W quick charging and magnetic power bank on October 24th. According to prior reports, the company intends to build an ecosystem of magnetic accessories.
In terms of phones, the series consists of three models: the Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra (which is set to ship early next year).
Oppo Find X8 / Pro supports 80W fast charging for 120W adapter
According to a prior rumor, the basic and Pro models will have 5700mAh and 5800mAh batteries, respectively, and support 80W fast charging. So the company created the charger with two high-performance gadgets in mind.
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will use the Dimensity 9400 chip, while the Ultra model will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite (87 Gen 4) chip, as seen in the iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13, both set to arrive in October. Both phones have a fully flat design, unlike the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. Aside from that, Oppo has taken a number of steps to improve the display’s visibility.
