The third betas of iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 are now available for iPhones and iPads, respectively. Every other week, Apple releases new beta updates on time. The second beta, which included some bug fixes, was released exactly one week ago. In addition, iOS 14.6 Beta 3 is a minor update with bug fixes and performance enhancements. The bug-free and dependable nature of an update is due to these constant small updates. If you’re a beta tester interested in trying iOS 14.6 Beta 3, you’ll find information on the most recent beta update here.
Apple has launched a slew of iOS and iPadOS updates in the last two or three weeks, including both stable and beta versions. The stable iOS 14.5.1 was only released a few days ago to correct security issues for users on the public stable version. If you are a beta tester, however, you will receive new updates every week. And this week’s update is iOS 14.6 Beta 3.
Along with iOS 14.6 Beta 3 and iPadOS 14.6 Beta 3, Apple also launched tvOS 14.6 Beta 3, watchOS 7.5 Beta 3, macOS Big Sur 11.4 Beta 3, and HomePod 14.6 Beta 3. The build version 18F5065a is included in both the iOS 14.6 Beta 3 and iPadOS 14.6 Beta 3 updates. We can anticipate the public release of iOS 14.6 soon because the build number ends with a ‘a.’ However, we can’t be sure because Apple surprised us with two betas in a row with iOS 14.5 last year.
What’s New in iOS 14.6 Beta 3
iOS 14.6 Beta 3 is a minor update for beta testers that includes bug fixes and enhancements. This is, after all, what Apple says in each beta update. A new Modem upgrade is included in the update. It means that if you had a network or compatibility problem with a previous update, it should be resolved in this one.

So, if you want to try out new beta updates, follow these steps to install the beta profile.
Install the iOS 14.6 Beta Profile or the iPadOS 14.6 Beta Profile to your device.
- Visit the Apple Beta Software website.
- Then, if you have an Apple ID, scroll down and press Sign in.
- Pick the correct operating system for your devices on the next tab, such as iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.
- Scroll down to Getting Started and choose Enroll your iOS device from the drop-down menu.
- You must now install a profile from the following page. To do so, choose Download Profile from the drop-down menu.
- Restart your computer after downloading the Profile. And now your iPhone is able to run iOS 14.6 beta 3.
You can install the latest update on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > Software Update after downloading the beta profile. You can also use Finder or iTunes to install iOS 14.6 Beta 3 with the full IPSW zip.
