Apple releases iOS 17.2 Beta 1 with Journal App and more.

Apple released the first beta of iOS 17.2 a day after releasing iOS 17.1 to the public. As usual, developers get the beta update first, then public beta testers. Apple typically begins beta testing the following build shortly after releasing a public build.

The wait for the second iOS 17 update began today. Adding new iPhone features later excites us. The first beta lets interested users sample new features before they’re released to the public.

Apple has issued betas for other devices. New updates include iPadOS 17.2 Beta 1, watchOS 10.2 Beta 1, tvOS 17.2 Beta 1, macOS Sonoma 14.2 Beta 1, Ventura 13.6.2 RC, and Monterey 12.7.2 RC. Both iOS and iPadOS 17.2 Beta 1 have the same build number: 21C5029g. The first beta is a long way from the release candidate and public build.

A new option, Translate, is available to map with the Action button (iPhone 15 Pro models)

  3. You can now create playlist and collaborate with your contacts
  4. AirPlay receiver to share or stream content from Apple Vision Pro to iPhones (Option available in Settings)
  5. Few other changes in Settings, Contact Posters, Book, and more

iOS 17.2 Beta 1 is now accessible to developers, and it will likely be made available to public beta testers later today or tomorrow. You may check for updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If you don’t know how to acquire beta updates, you must enable the beta update option on the Software Update page.

Make a backup of your iPhone data before updating to the beta version. Also, make sure your device is at least 50% charged.
