Apple releases iOS 14.7 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 2

The second beta of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 is currently available for beta testers. About two weeks ago, iOS 14.7 Beta 1 was released. Apple published a slew of iOS and iPadOS upgrades in the last few weeks, including iOS 14.7 Beta 1, which came as a surprise given that an iOS 14.6 Release candidate was previously available. Apple has officially released iOS 14.7 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 2 for developers and public beta testers after completing the previous patches. Initially, developers will have access to iOS 14.7 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 2. However, public beta testers will be able to access it shortly. You will receive the update directly on your compatible iPhone and iPad if you are a developer or public beta tester. By navigating to Settings > Software Update, you may manually check for the update. It will display the most recent update; click the Get & Install option to download it.

You will not receive the update on your iDevice if you are still using the public build. If you wish to check out the beta updates, you may do so by installing the beta profile on your iPhone or iPad. After that, you’ll get the incremental beta updates. So, if you want to check out new beta upgrades, follow these steps to install the beta profile.

Install iOS 14.7 Beta Profile and iPadOS 14.7 Beta Profile

  1. Visit the Apple Beta Software website.
  2. Then, if you have an Apple ID, scroll down and click Sign in.
  3. Select the relevant operating system for your devices on the following page, such as iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.
  4. Scroll down to Getting Started and select Enroll your iOS device 
  5. Now you need to install a profile from the next Page. To do so, select Download Profile from the drop-down menu.
  6. Restart your device after installing the Profile. And now your iPhone is ready to run iOS 14.7 beta 2.

You may install the newest update on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > Software Update after installing the beta profile. You may also use Finder or iTunes to install iOS 14.7 Beta 2 using the entire IPSW file.
