11 Ways To Fix iPhone Sound Not Working

Is the sudden inability to hear anything on your iPhone something you’re currently experiencing? You might notice this when you’re on the phone, playing a game, or listening to music. This is usually the result of a glitch in the program or some tweaks you make to your own configuration. 1. Check the Volume Level

The first thing you should do is check the iPhone’s volume level. After you’ve done that, check the case for your phone. According to numerous accounts, the case can cause the phone’s volume buttons to be accidentally pressed while in the pocket, resulting in the phone going silent.

2. Clean Your Speaker and Headphone Jack

Your iPhone’s speaker grill and headphone jack are common places for dust and debris to accumulate and eventually render them inoperable. Find out if your iPhone is in silent mode by looking at the status of the alert slider on the side of your device. The phone is in silent mode if you see the orange color. Restoring sound for calls and notifications is as easy as sliding the slider upward, which will put your phone in ringing mode.
